Welcome
Trinity Bible Church is a congregation of believers, first organized in April 1995 by families in Powell, Wyoming, who desired a church that would look to the Bible as its source of faith and practice. We embrace the great biblical doctrines of the Protestant Reformation, sometimes referred to as the “doctrines of grace”, currently labeled “Reformed Baptist” and most fully explained in the London Confession of Faith of 1689.
Since we believe the Bible is our sole authority for all faith and practice, we strive to conform our worship to what is most pleasing and honoring to God. Our confession of faith outlines in greater detail many of the principles we follow. You will hear of the glory of Christ and the promises of the gospel every Lord's Day. Our pastor preaches expositorily which means that he preaches verse by verse through the books of the Bible.
We gather corporately each Lord’s Day to exalt the Lord Jesus Christ in singing, prayer, Scripture reading, the Lord’s supper and expository preaching of the Word of God. Our corporate worship through song is done with great consideration. We sing a blend of Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs (Ephesians 5:19). We sing from the Trinity Hymnal, and carefully chosen, recently written songs. It is our desire to sing with hearts filled with joyful and reverential praise! You may listen to most of the songs we sing at our YouTube TBC Songs playlist. We observe the Lord’s Supper each Sunday. We believe this practice best conforms to the Scriptures and practice of the early church.
We encourage families to worship together. A nursery is provided for children ages 3 and below. We acknowledge that it is a growth process for children to gain self-control and appreciation for the worship of God and we support parents in this training process.
We divide into age specific Sunday School classes from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (except at times in the summer we meet as one group to give the teachers a break)
